Gochang County in Jeollabuk-do announced on the 5th that it will hold the "2023 Calligraphy. Flying over the Mountains and Rivers of Jeollabuk-do - Gochang Exhibition" at the exhibition hall of the Gochang Cultural Center until the 10th.
Hosted by the World Calligraphy Jeollabuk Biennale Organizing Committee (Chairman Song Hajin), the event's opening ceremony was held at 4:30 PM the previous day, attended by about 100 people including Gochang County Autonomous Administration Director Goun Ki, heads of local organizations, and local and expatriate artists from Gochang.

The exhibition features calligraphy works by 46 local and expatriate artists from Gochang, including pieces by the late Ha Gwansu, an invited artist of the Calligraphy Hanmadang and Literati Painting and an invited artist of the Jeollabuk-do Art Exhibition.
Anyone can visit the exhibition hall at the Cultural Center to appreciate the beautiful cultural heritage that reflects the spirit and wisdom of the ancestors.
Goun Ki, Director of Autonomous Administration, said, "It is a great personal honor to be able to see outstanding works by excellent artists all in one place," and added, "I hope this exhibition will be a meaningful event that leaves inspiration and hope in the hearts of Gochang residents and visitors through the appreciation of refined calligraphy and painting works."
