‘Kim Kwang-seok Singing’ Held in Daegu ... Singers Min Kyung-hoon and Song Ha-ye Attend

Top 10 Teams Compete in Skills

Jung-gu, Daegu (Mayor Ryu Gyu-ha) will hold the '2023 Kim Kwang-seok Singing My Song Again' competition at 7 p.m. on the 7th at the Kim Kwang-seok-gil Concert Hall.


The competition, which honors the eternal singer Kim Kwang-seok and aims to discover talented musicians, received applications from a total of 397 teams nationwide. After fierce competition through the first video screening and the second on-site screening, the final 10 teams that passed will showcase their honed skills to the fullest.

Additionally, the event will feature congratulatory performances by singer Min Kyung-hoon, known for his sweet voice that matches the autumn atmosphere, and singer Song Ha-ye, who is actively performing with outstanding vocal skills, further heating up the excitement of the concert.


Prizes and plaques will be awarded to the winners of the final performance, with 5 million KRW for the grand prize, 3 million KRW for the excellence award, 2 million KRW for the merit award, and 1 million KRW for the encouragement award.


Ryu Gyu-ha, Mayor of Jung-gu, Daegu, said, “Through this competition, I hope Kim Kwang-seok’s songs will be reborn and reinterpreted to be loved by even more people,” adding, “I hope it will be a special time of memories and emotions for fans and citizens who miss Kim Kwang-seok on this autumn night.”
