Dream Academy Participants Visit HYBE Headquarters
Speaker Bang: "Music, Stage, and Fans Are the Most Important"
Bang Si-hyuk, chairman of HYBE, had a surprise meeting with 18 participants of the global girl group debut audition 'The Debut: Dream Academy.'
On the 21st, HYBE announced that the Dream Academy participants visited the HYBE headquarters in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 19th to experience the K-pop training system.
On that day, Chairman Bang met with them in the practice room and gave advice on the qualities required as artists.
In response to a question from Carly, a participant from the United States, asking "What is the most important virtue as an artist?" Bang replied, "Making music, the stage, and fans happy."
He continued, "Before becoming an artist, you need to know what you want for yourself. Many trainees talk about money and popularity, but those come after success and cannot be the goal."
He explained, "It can be difficult at times, but if you value making music, the stage, and fans happy, it will give you the motivation to keep moving forward without stopping."
Chairman Bang said, "Since BTS, this is the first time meeting trainees before their debut and taking photos together," and wished the participants "good luck."
The participants of HYBE's global girl group debut audition 'The Debut: Dream Academy' are scheduled to participate in a fan meeting event to communicate with fans on the 4th of next month.
