"Preventing Gapjil Starts with Mutual Communication"
Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do conducted anti-corruption and integrity education to foster a clean public service culture.
On the 14th, at the Jindo-gun Office main conference room, Seosang-il, a master of Geumgok Seodang and a professional instructor in integrity education, was invited to conduct training on anti-corruption, integrity, and strengthening capabilities in handling grievance complaints.

According to the county on the 15th, the training targeted over 200 public officials, including the Jindo-gun governor, focusing on practical cases such as △Code of Conduct for Public Officials △Conflict of Interest Prevention Act △Eradication of Gapjil (abuse of power).
The best way to prevent recent issues such as workplace harassment and problems caused by Gapjil and Euljil (power harassment and unfair treatment) is to improve organizational culture through active communication among members of the organization.
Governor Kim Hee-su stated, “We are conducting integrity education for all public officials to create a trusted public service culture,” adding, “We will continue to do our best to build a clean Jindo through eradicating corruption and spreading a culture of consideration.”
Meanwhile, Jindo-gun is making efforts to establish a clean organizational culture by promoting anti-corruption and integrity policies such as integrity education, anti-corruption and integrity pledge meetings, and integrity communication forums.
