Selvers, a platform that enables easy and fast creation of 3D virtual spaces, has been selected for the open innovation program "Culture Tech Challenge" jointly conducted by accelerator CNT Tech and SM Culture Partners (SMCP). They have signed an agreement and will proceed with business validation.
Through this open innovation, Selvers will participate in programs such as business validation with SM Culture Partners and SM Entertainment, demo days, and will also have opportunities for investment attraction.
Selvers operates a micro 3D virtual space service that can be created easily and quickly. A small cube-shaped unit space can be made in about three minutes, and multiple cube spaces can be connected to create an expandable 3D space.
A Selvers representative explained, "With this production method and technology, it is possible to create fully customized spaces that differ from existing 3D space content production methods. It does not take much time and is lightweight."
Through this open innovation, Selvers will collaborate with SM Entertainment in the field of 'metaverse interaction,' creating virtual spaces where fans and artists can communicate without constraints of time and space.
Currently, Selvers has signed a contract with Naver to provide services to Smart Store operators through the Naver Solution Market. Additionally, a contract with Cafe24 has been signed, providing services to numerous sellers.
A Selvers representative stated, "Through this open innovation, we plan to expand categories and commercialize not only in the commerce sector but also in the entertainment sector."
Meanwhile, Selvers is located in the Campus Town Business Growth Center, operated by CNT Tech under private consignment, and participates in strategic scale-up programs aimed at revitalizing the local economy and supporting growth for autonomous districts, universities, and young entrepreneurs.
