Sergei Shoigu, the Russian Minister of Defense who visited North Korea, reported the results of his visit to President Vladimir Putin, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.

Peskov said, "Any attempt to promote a peaceful resolution deserves a positive evaluation," adding, "Russia has no preconditions for a peaceful resolution of the situation." However, he also stated, "The Ukrainian regime does not want peace and cannot want it as long as it is used as a tool of war by the Western collective against Russia."
Peskov conveyed that President Putin is scheduled to have a phone call with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an on the 2nd of next month.
