Jeonbuk Provincial Institute of Technology and Provincial Social Service Institute Join Hands for Community Coexistence

28 Social Campus On Resident Companies and Social Enterprises Participate

Jeonbuk Economic and Trade Promotion Agency (Director Lee Hyun-woong, hereinafter referred to as Gyeongjinwon) and Jeonbuk Social Service Agency (Director Seo Yang-yeol) have joined hands to revitalize social enterprises and social services in the Jeonbuk region.


According to Jeonbuk Gyeongjinwon on the 12th, through this agreement, the two organizations will cooperate to ▲activate social services of social enterprises in Jeonbuk Province ▲exchange information to promote social contribution activities ▲discover and match social service demands ▲jointly operate programs to solve community problems through social missions.


In addition, a social contribution cooperation program will be operated to provide social service activities by 28 companies, including resident companies of Social Campus On Jeonbuk and social enterprises.

Park Kyung-wan, CEO of resident company Jundesign Co., Ltd. at Social Campus On Jeonbuk, said, "Through this cooperation program, social enterprises in the province will vigorously deliver social services to the residents."


Director Lee Hyun-woong stated, "With the operation of cooperative projects with Jeonbuk provincial public institutions, there are now more diverse ways for social enterprises to provide social services to residents, and this is a great opportunity for institutions, companies, and residents to coexist."


Meanwhile, Social Campus On Jeonbuk is a social enterprise growth support center established with lottery funds, supervised by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency, and entrusted to be operated by Gyeongjinwon. It provides comprehensive incubating support so that early social entrepreneurs can grow stably and enter preliminary and certified social enterprises.
