Korea Exchange Selects 2023 KOSDAQ Rising Star

8 New Selections Including EMRO, TES, and Techwing

The Korea Exchange announced on the 6th that it has selected 41 KOSDAQ-listed companies with excellent technological capabilities and growth potential as the '2023 KOSDAQ Rising Stars.'

'KOSDAQ Rising Stars' refers to listed companies that have a high market dominance in the global market or a high domestic market share in innovative industries, indicating a strong potential to become global companies. This initiative aims to discover and nurture companies with outstanding technology and growth potential. The Exchange does not recommend these stocks for investment.

The Exchange conducted quantitative evaluations (financial requirements, etc.) and qualitative evaluations (CEO interviews) for the applicant companies, followed by a final selection through deliberation by a selection committee composed of external experts.

This year, 33 out of the 37 existing Rising Star companies were reselected. Eight new companies were added, bringing the total to 41.

The Exchange stated, "This year, we mainly selected new companies possessing innovative technologies in future growth industries such as semiconductors, secondary batteries, and IT," adding, "Selected companies will receive benefits such as exemption from annual fees and listing fees (for one year), support for IR events, and publication of corporate analysis reports."

Meanwhile, the companies newly selected as 2023 KOSDAQ Rising Stars are MRO, TES, Techwing, QRT, Kotek, Genians, and Neosem. Enchem was chosen as a recommended company.
