KT M Mobile Launches Three 5G Mid-Tier Plans with 50-90GB Data

KT M Mobile announced on the 26th that it has launched three new mid-tier 5G plans to expand the plan options for budget 5G customers.

With the release of these three new mid-tier 5G plans, KT M Mobile now offers the largest lineup of 5G plans in the budget phone industry. In the budget 5G market, which has been divided between high data plans of over 100GB and low data plans under 30GB, the company plans to provide services by segmenting the 50-90GB data range.

The newly launched mid-tier 5G plans are ▲5G Moduda Mamkkeot 50GB+ (37,900 KRW) ▲5G Moduda Mamkkeot 70GB+ (39,100 KRW) ▲5G Moduda Mamkkeot 90GB+ (40,300 KRW), all offering unlimited voice and text. Even after the basic data is used up, customers can use unlimited data at a speed of 1Mbps without worrying about additional charges.

Recently, in the budget phone market where LTE plans were dominant, the number of customers preferring 5G plans is increasing. KT M Mobile previously launched a 5G mid-tier plan offering 30GB of data in March. A KT M Mobile product representative stated that the main customers for this plan are the MZ generation who prefer ‘unlocked devices + budget 5G plans,’ and they account for 66% of the 30GB plan subscribers.
