Developed by Korea Asset Trust and constructed by Kumho Construction, ‘Yangyang Kumho Eoullim The First’ is located in the Yangyang-gun area of Gangwon Province. It consists of five buildings ranging from two basement floors to 26 floors above ground, with a total of 279 units sized between 59 and 129 square meters. The official contract signing will take place over three days from July 3rd to 5th.
As a result of the first and second priority subscription held on the 15th and 16th, 315 subscription applications were received for 246 units (excluding special supply), recording an average competition rate of 1.28 to 1. Notably, the 99㎡ type recorded the highest competition rate of 10 to 1 in the first priority round.

‘Yangyang Kumho Eoullim The First’ is expected to benefit from various development projects. First, the Donghae Northern Line Yangyang Station (planned) is scheduled to open soon. The Donghae Northern Line is a 111.7 km single-track railway connecting Gangneung, Yangyang, Sokcho, Goseong, and Jejin. The Yangyang Station (planned) will be located in the Songam-ri area of Yangyang-eup, adjacent to the Yangyang Intercity Bus Terminal, which is expected to further improve the transportation environment. Additionally, the Yangyang Police Station is scheduled to begin construction this year in the area.
Benefits are also expected from the lifting of restrictions in the Naksan Provincial Park area. In 2020, Gangwon Province permitted construction in the commercial zone of this area with a building coverage ratio of up to 80% and a floor area ratio of up to 1300%. The development of the ‘Seoraksan Osaek Cable Car’ also draws attention. Yangyang-gun announced that after the Ministry of Environment conditionally approved the environmental impact assessment supplement for the Osaek Cable Car project at the end of February, detailed design work commenced immediately and is expected to be completed within this month. The ‘Seoraksan Osaek Cable Car’ aims to begin operation in early 2026.
