Coupang Logistics Service Operates Under a Three-Person Co-CEO Structure

Strengthening Responsible Management in Operations, New Business, and Management Support Divisions

Coupang's logistics and delivery subsidiary, Coupang Logistics Service (CLS), announced on the 15th that it has transitioned to a three-person co-CEO system with Kang Hyun-oh (Operations), Lee Seon-seung (New Business), and Hong Yong-jun (Management Support). Through this organizational change, CLS plans to establish strong leadership and strengthen responsible management in specialized fields.

CEO Kang is an expert with experience in accounting, finance, and related fields. He joined Coupang in 2016 and has served as the head of CLS's Operations division since March. CEO Kang oversees CLS operations and finance, supporting overall business operations management.


CEO Lee joined Coupang in 2014 and is a logistics expert who has led customer-centric management and delivery innovation. He was appointed CEO of CLS in 2021 and has contributed to differentiating CLS from existing courier companies.


CEO Hong is responsible for CLS's corporate legal affairs. He will also focus on tasks to strengthen ESG management, including compliance, safety and health, and human resources. Previously, he gained legal advisory experience in various fields such as compliance, fair trade, labor and employment, and intellectual property at Kim & Chang, the largest law firm in Korea.
