As the tournament, which is gaining worldwide popularity, is being held for the third consecutive time, the event hosted by the Uljin-gun Boxing Association and organized by the Uljin-gun Sports Council aims to leap forward as a premium sports city. The tournament will feature a total of 26 matches divided into semi-pro matches, pro matches, and special matches, with about 60 athletes competing fiercely.

In particular, this tournament will boost local pride as a festival created together with the participation of local singers and student dance teams from the Uljin area in the pre-event performances. Additionally, a fan signing event with UFC active fighter Kang Kyung-ho will provide a unique enjoyment for both local residents and tourists.

Son Byeong-bok, the county governor, stated, “We will do our best to revitalize the local economy by actively promoting the region and attracting tourists through online and offline broadcasts of the Uljin-gun mixed martial arts tournament, including Korea-Japan matches and international matches.”
