Gochang-gun, Jeollabuk-do, carried out a ‘Single-Use Products Free Day’ campaign on the 10th at the Gochang Dolmen Historic Site area.
According to the county on the 11th, ‘Single-Use Products Free Day’ is a province-wide citizen practice movement conducted by Jeollabuk-do to actively promote and practice reducing the use of single-use products. Gochang-gun also conducts various promotional activities every month on the 10th to raise awareness of Single-Use Products Free Day.

On this day, Jeollabuk-do and Gochang-gun jointly held the campaign at the representative Gochang Dolmen Historic Site to mark Family Month in 2023, targeting families, friends, and groups visiting Gochang to encourage and promote the reduction of single-use product usage.
The county plans to intensively promote the end of the guidance period for newly restricted single-use product items starting from November 24 and will continue to encourage participation in ‘Single-Use Products Free Day’ on the 10th of every month.
A county official said, “We ask for your interest and cooperation so that the pristine natural environment of Gochang can be preserved and passed on intact to future generations through the suppression of single-use product usage.”
