The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will hold the '2023 Teacher's Day and Private Kindergarten Management Meritorious Teacher Commendation Ceremony' at 3 p.m. on the 12th in the International Conference Room of the Office of Education Annex.
The commendation event was organized to foster a culture of respect for teachers and to boost the morale of teachers who have contributed to the advancement of education.
The Busan Office of Education will award commendations to a total of 343 individuals, including 152 recipients of the Minister of Education Commendation for Teacher's Day merit, 180 recipients of the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education Superintendent Commendation, and 11 recipients of the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education Superintendent Commendation for private kindergarten management merit.
Among them, 41 representatives will attend the ceremony, where Superintendent Ha Yun-su will personally present the awards.
Ha Yun-su, Superintendent of the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, said, “I express respect and gratitude to the teachers who lovingly and encouragingly nurture our children so they can pursue their dreams,” adding, “We will do our best to provide conditions that allow teachers to take pride and find fulfillment in dedicating themselves to student guidance.”
