Through this partnership, SK Telecom will introduce the two companies in the ‘When Protecting the Earth’ section on the main page of T Membership, supporting launch events, banner postings, and notification messages. T Membership’s ‘When Protecting the Earth’ is a space that gathers eco-friendly companies such as electric car rentals and charging, eco-friendly refill cosmetics, and upcycled fashion, offering customers discount benefits for eco-friendly consumption.
Additionally, SKT, Donggubat, and Dajeonghan Market will provide ongoing discount benefits to customers purchasing products through T Membership. Customers purchasing Donggubat products can receive a 10% discount, while those purchasing Dajeonghan Market products can receive a 20% discount.
As a launch event, Donggubat and Dajeonghan Market will also offer a 40% discount on all products. From the 11th to the 17th, Donggubat will provide a one-time discount of up to 20,000 KRW for customers purchasing over 30,000 KRW, and from the 18th to the 24th, Dajeonghan Market will offer a one-time discount of up to 40,000 KRW for customers purchasing over 30,000 KRW.
The two companies stated that as part of the ‘Ultra Cooperation for Future ICT-Financial Innovation’ agreement signed last year, they decided to support Donggubat and Dajeonghan Market, eco-friendly companies participating in Hana Financial Group’s startup support program ‘Hana Power On,’ which align with the purpose of ‘When Protecting the Earth.’
T Membership is a mobile customer benefit platform with 5.2 million monthly active users (MAU). Social enterprises benefit from securing sales channels and increasing awareness through T Membership partnerships.
In addition to the ‘When Protecting the Earth’ section, T Membership operates the ‘Open Bakery’ and ‘Good Consumption’ programs as part of supporting small businesses and eco-friendly companies. ‘Open Bakery’ is a program that supports neighborhood bakeries through online sales channels, providing discounts and joint marketing for about 70 local bakeries nationwide. ‘Good Consumption’ is a program that helps social enterprises related to environment, human rights, and youth employment.
SKT plans to lead the spread of eco-friendly consumption culture by supporting the sustainable growth of social enterprises through this collaboration with Hana Financial Group, as well as by fostering a domestic ESG alliance ecosystem.
Yoon Jae-woong, head of SK Telecom’s Subscription CO, said, “T Membership supports social enterprises in various fields such as environment, human rights, and youth employment through diverse channels,” adding, “We will contribute to more sustainable growth in our society through this eco-friendly ESG collaboration with Hana Financial Group.”
