KT is offering customized benefits to family customers in celebration of the ‘Month of Family.’ On the 2nd, KT announced the launch of the ‘May Family Benefits Package,’ ‘Senior-Only Plans,’ ‘Safety Services,’ and ‘Specialized Devices.’

The ‘Family Benefits Package’ consists of four benefit programs that provide guaranteed perks with simple participation. Customers who visit a nearby KT store can receive a ‘Disney+ 1-month benefit.’ This benefit is available after completing the QR verification process at KT stores until the 31st. The package also includes a ‘Family Overseas Roaming Discount.’ Customers using KT bundled products can log in to the ‘KT Family Box app’ to instantly receive a 5,500 KRW discount coupon for ‘Roaming Data Together ON.’ This service allows up to three members to share data across 118 countries worldwide. Each Family Box member can receive this coupon once until the 30th of next month.

The other two benefits are ‘Membership Dal.Dal.Benefits’ and the ‘KT Family Photo Studio.’ ‘Membership Dal.Dal.Benefits’ offers discounts at four nationwide theme parks, discounts at popular franchise restaurants, and entry for four movie ticket draws to all KT membership customers. This runs from the 15th to the 30th. Additionally, customers who visit the KT Suwon Baseball Stadium for KT weekend home games can receive family photo postcards, KT baseball caps, and more through the ‘KT Family Photo Studio’ promotion, which operates until July 9th.

The senior plans will be launched on the 12th. The ‘5G Senior Plans’ consist of four types, ranging from 41,000 KRW to 49,000 KRW depending on age. With basic pension discounts of 12,100 KRW, a 25% optional contract discount, and a 5,500 KRW total bundle discount applied, the plans can be as low as around 10,000 KRW, making them affordable. They include 8 to 15 GB of 5G data and voice calls. Additionally, the senior plans come with free ‘KT Safety Box (3,300 KRW/month).’ The spam protection service ‘Premium Whowho (1,100 KRW/month)’ offers a 50% discount (1,100 KRW → 550 KRW per month) for 24 months to customers aged 65 and older using 5G plans.

‘Specialized Device’ benefits are also prepared. These include the ‘Mampeonan Phone 2 (retail price 429,000 KRW)’ for seniors and the iPhone SE3 ‘Y2K Pack Edition (retail price 572,000 KRW)’ for youth, offering generation-tailored devices. The ‘Mampeonan Phone 2’ is a 5G smartphone for seniors that includes enhanced ‘Remote Smartphone Assistance,’ a ‘YouTube Widget,’ and a ‘Premium Whowho 2-year free’ benefit compared to its predecessor. The iPhone SE3 ‘Y2K Pack Edition’ comes with an ‘Apple Beats Solo3 Headset’ and an ‘Illustration’ package created in collaboration with Y-artist liz. These are available in limited quantities until the 12th.
