Discussion on Military Administration Issues, Proposal for Securing Next Year's Provincial Funding
On the 28th, Haman-gun, Gyeongnam Province held a meeting with provincial council members at the conference room on the 3rd floor of the annex building of the county office.
At the meeting, Gyeongnam Provincial Council members Jo Young-je and Jo In-je, along with Deputy County Governor Lee Byung-chul and senior officials from various departments, attended to report on major county administration projects and engage in in-depth discussions on securing next year’s provincial budget and strategies.
The key issues discussed included ▲Regional Vitality Town contest ▲Creation of a public eco-friendly golf course ▲Development of the Maliyasan Tumuli ‘King’s Garden’ ▲Hapgang area tourism development project ▲Establishment of a veterans welfare town ▲Hosting the 2026 Haman World Horticulture (Watermelon) Expo, among others.
For next year’s major provincial budget requests, nine projects were shared and proposed for provincial funding support, including ▲Remodeling (expansion) of Haman-gun Comprehensive Social Welfare Center ▲Construction of Haman-gun Disabled Welfare Center ▲Creation of Jayangsan Forest Bathing Area ▲Improvement of the intersection on Local Road No. 1021 (Okryeol District) ▲Establishment of public parking lots.
Deputy County Governor Lee Byung-chul said, “I ask for your keen attention to the pending projects and next year’s provincial budget applications for the development of county administration, and I hope that with the council members’ outstanding capabilities and deep affection for Haman, you will help make Haman even greater.”
In response, Provincial Council members Jo Young-je and Jo In-je said, “We will communicate and cooperate to resolve local issues and secure provincial funds, and we will do our best to ensure that major county administration projects proceed smoothly.”
