Ban Jang-sik, President of the Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation, reported assets worth 3.1 billion KRW in deposits and 5.2219 billion KRW in properties including an apartment in Gunpo, Gyeonggi Province.
According to the Government Ethics Committee on the 30th, Ban reported holding assets worth 5.2219 billion KRW, an increase of 226.35 million KRW compared to the previous year. Ban held 2.852 billion KRW in deposits under his name. His spouse held deposits worth 331.38 million KRW.
Ban increased his deposit assets by 1.05789 billion KRW compared to the previous year by saving part of the proceeds (over 1.6 billion KRW) from selling four commercial properties in Cheonho-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul, after paying capital gains tax. Additionally, Ban reported an apartment building in Gunpo-si, Gyeonggi Province, valued at 451 million KRW under his name.
Yoon Hee-seong, President of the Export-Import Bank of Korea, reported assets worth 2.67224 billion KRW. Yoon reported an apartment in Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, jointly owned with his spouse, valued at 1.49 billion KRW, and deposits worth 912.1 million KRW. Yoon’s assets increased by 146.16 million KRW compared to the previous year due to a rise in the official price of owned buildings and stock sales.
Park Yong-joo, President of the Korea Fiscal Information Service, reported assets worth 1.1425 billion KRW. Park reported an apartment in Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi Province, valued at 668 million KRW, and deposits worth 469.34 million KRW under his name. Since his appointment as head of the institution in October 2021, Park’s assets increased by 199.87 million KRW compared to the previous year due to an increase in pension payments received during employee tenure.
Jin Seung-ho, President of Korea Investment Corporation, reported assets worth 469.49 million KRW. Jin held an apartment in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, valued at 960 million KRW and deposits of 252.76 million KRW. Jin’s debt decreased from 294.9 million KRW to 219.79 million KRW due to debt repayment. Chu Seong-yeol, Vice President of the Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation, reported 819.26 million KRW, down 28.7 million KRW from the previous year. Kim Dong-wook, Standing Auditor of the Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation, reported 920.3 million KRW, up 118.36 million KRW from the previous year.
