The South Korean national football team suffered a disappointing defeat against Uruguay in their second match under coach J?rgen Klinsmann.
Klinsmann's team lost 1-2 in the friendly match held on the 28th at Seoul World Cup Stadium. Although three goals were scored in the second half, two of them were canceled after video review, resulting in the defeat.
Since its launch, Klinsmann's team has finished two friendlies with 1 draw and 1 loss. Earlier, in their debut match against Colombia at Ulsan Munsu Football Stadium on the 24th, they recorded a 2-2 draw.

The team conceded the opening goal in the 10th minute of the first half from a header by Sebasti?n Coates during a corner kick situation. The team, struggling early on, revived their attacking power in the middle of the first half but failed to score an equalizer before halftime.
The team leveled the score 1-1 in the 6th minute of the second half with a goal by Hwang In-beom. However, in the 18th minute of the second half, a free kick conceded in a dangerous area led to another goal, putting them behind 1-2 again. The team launched a counterattack, and Kim Young-gwon and Oh Hyun-kyu successively struck the opponent's net in the 27th and 35th minutes of the second half. However, after video review, both goals were ruled out due to fouls and offsides, and the team ultimately finished the match without scoring a consolation goal.
