Pearl Abyss Black Desert Mobile, Will 'Hasashin Awakening' Appear?

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] A new class is set to appear in Pearl Abyss's Black Desert Mobile.

Black Desert Mobile will celebrate its 5th anniversary of service in Korea on the 28th. The company has held events every year on its birthday. This time, the official Black Desert Mobile forum is hosting the ‘Hourglass Waiting for Someone’ event, where players predict and share their expectations about a new existence. Through a raffle, prizes such as Black Desert character stickers and a ‘Black Desert Mobile Calendar’ containing Black Pearls will be awarded.

During the same period, users are obtaining hints about the new existence through in-game events held alongside community events. From the item 'Form of the Sand Serpent' obtained by defeating enemies in the game and the community event titled ‘Hourglass,’ players infer ‘sand’ and anticipate the release of the ‘Hasashin’ awakening.

The existing Hasashin succession class is a close-range assassin class that uses the curved blade Sagokdo as its main weapon to exploit enemy weaknesses. It is characterized by manipulating sand, having been granted some of Aral’s power, including abilities like Aral’s Breath and Scorching Storm. There is interest in whether the ‘new existence’ hinting at a new Black Desert Mobile class will be the predicted ‘Hasashin Awakening.’

Expectations for the new class are likely to increase user participation. Black Desert previously saw a 330% increase in new users and a 430% increase in returning users compared to a month before the update, thanks to the release effect of ‘Usa.’

Meanwhile, Black Desert Mobile opened the new region ‘Western Kamasylvia’ through the update on the 7th. The ‘Western Kamasylvia’ region consists of hunting grounds including the capital Grana, Tooth Fairy Forest, Tooth Fairy Attic, Polly Forest Luni Lodge, Polly Forest Wini Lodge, and Ianaros’s Field.
