[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, is publicly recruiting members for the ‘Youth Network’ to discover youth-led policies.
Nam-gu announced on the 6th that it will recruit about 40 members over three weeks until the 24th.
Any youth aged between 19 and 45 who reside in Nam-gu or are active at universities, companies, or other places located within the district can participate.
The activity period is two years, from March 1, 2024, to February 28, 2025.
Those selected as Youth Network members will play a role in discovering various policies, monitoring youth policies, and participating in district administration to find fundamental solutions to youth issues.
Youths wishing to participate as Youth Network members must submit one application form along with one of the following documents proving their activity based in the district: a copy of resident registration or family relation certificate, student ID copy, certificate of employment, or business registration certificate.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the Job Policy Division in person or via email.

Meanwhile, the Nam-gu Youth Network took its first step in 2018 as the 100-member Youth Policy Committee, changed its name to Youth Network in 2019, and has been actively operating since then. It currently operates under four subcommittees: participation and communication, employment and welfare, youth culture, and urban regeneration.
