[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The group BTS's nomination for the 'Best Music Video' category at the 65th Grammy Awards did not result in a win. On the 5th (local time), the 65th Grammy Awards were held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles (LA), USA. At the pre-ceremony, the 'Best Music Video' award went to American pop singer Taylor Swift (34) for 'All Too Well: The Short Film.' BTS's 'Yet To Come,' which was nominated in the same category, unfortunately did not win.

Taylor Swift won the trophy in this category with her music video, which was also her directorial debut for a short film.

BTS was nominated in a total of three categories at the ceremony, including 'Best Music Video.'

In one of the four major Grammy awards, 'Album of the Year,' Britpop band Coldplay's 'Music of the Spheres' was nominated, and the song 'My Universe,' which they collaborated on, was also included as a nominee. BTS members J-Hope, RM, and Suga were nominated as songwriters in this category as featured artists.

Through this, BTS set new records as the first K-pop artist to be nominated for the Grammys for three consecutive years and the first K-pop artist to be nominated in three Grammy categories. Previously, BTS was nominated as the first Asian artists in the 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance' category in 2020 and 2021 with 'Dynamite' and 'Butter,' respectively.
