Namhae-gun, "Creating a Pleasant Urban Environment Through Resident Participation"

Recruitment for Illegal Mobile Advertisements 'Resident Collection Reward Program'

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] Namhae-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is recruiting residents to participate in the ‘Illegal Mobile Advertisement Collection Reward System Resident Maintenance Team’ until the 10th to create a pleasant urban environment.


The Illegal Advertisement Collection Reward System is a program that encourages residents to participate in the cleanup of illegal advertisements such as illegal banners, posters, and flyers (business card-type flyers) and provides rewards based on the collection performance.

A reward of 2,000 KRW per poster, 4,000 KRW for banners over 5㎡, and 3,000 KRW for banners under 5㎡ will be paid, with a daily limit of 100,000 KRW and a monthly limit of 2,000,000 KRW (total budget 3,000,000 KRW).


Applicants must be residents aged 20 or older with an address in Namhae-gun. Sanitation workers, public workers, and participants in senior job projects are excluded, and only one person per household can participate.


Residents wishing to participate can apply by visiting the Urban Architecture Division by the 10th. Selected residents for the maintenance team will receive training on the classification criteria for illegal advertisements, safety rules, and proper collection methods, and then participate in the collection reward system for one year.


Kim Ki-hyun, head of the Urban Architecture Division, said, “We hope many residents will participate and join in creating a better cityscape,” adding, “We will continue to strive to create a clean urban environment through the cleanup and crackdown on illegal advertisements.”
