K Car Offers 200,000 KRW Compensation Discount When Buying and Selling Used Cars at Direct Stores

[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] K Car is conducting a direct store trade-in promotion at 47 direct stores nationwide.


K Car announced on the 2nd that when purchasing a vehicle at a direct store, customers who sell their current car to the same direct store will receive a 200,000 KRW discount. This promotion will run from the 3rd until the end of the promotion period.


Consumers who wish to participate in the trade-in sale can select the K Car direct vehicle they want to purchase and visit the corresponding direct store with their current car. The current vehicle will be inspected by K Car’s professional vehicle appraiser, who will determine the purchase price. If the owner decides to proceed with the sale, they will receive a 200,000 KRW discount on the price of the K Car direct vehicle they intend to buy. For example, if the direct vehicle to be purchased costs 20 million KRW and the trade-in value of the current car is 10 million KRW, applying the 200,000 KRW direct store trade-in discount means the customer only pays 9.8 million KRW.


This simultaneous vehicle purchase and disposal process saves time and reduces the financial burden of buying a car. Additionally, when using a loan, it lowers the transaction amount, which can reduce the loan limit or interest burden.


K Car has introduced a PMS (Pricing Management System) that systematically analyzes and predicts market prices by utilizing big data tracking the entire used car market transactions. On-site vehicle appraisers inspect the actual internal and external condition of the vehicle and provide customers with a final estimate reflecting these findings.


Meanwhile, the KW3 free gift event continues. About 1,000 vehicles including the Kia All New Carnival, Genesis G80 (old model), and BMW 3 Series (F30) are eligible. Buyers of these models will receive K Car’s direct used car extended quality warranty program, KW (K Car Warranty), which offers a basic warranty of 90 days or within 5,000 km, providing warranty repair benefits worth up to 5 million KRW for major parts such as the engine and transmission.


KW is an extended quality warranty service that guarantees after-sales service (A/S) for up to 730 days for direct used cars purchased from K Car. Recently, the service has been improved by expanding the warranty coverage and scope, adjusting prices, and strengthening maintenance quality and accessibility through a partnership with Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance’s Anycar Land, which has the largest network in the industry.


Jung In-guk, CEO of K Car, said, "The direct store trade-in program, which allows customers to exchange their old car for a new one in a one-stop process, is an alternative that can reduce the burden of purchasing a vehicle in this high-interest-rate era."
