RepShomei Co., Ltd., the headquarters of the unmanned food discount store Babkki, announced that its first franchise store of 2023, Babkki Magok Station Branch, successfully opened on the 19th.
Located in the Magok Industrial Complex, home to major corporations such as LG, Kolon, and S-OIL, as well as promising startups, Babkki Magok Station Branch is known to be situated within the Seoul Startup Hub operated by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Business Agency Foundation.
In particular, Babkki Magok Station Branch is designed to allow consumers to cook directly using the shared kitchen inside the Seoul Startup Hub. On the opening day, employees and office workers who experienced affordable meals firsthand gave positive feedback.
Namjoong Kim, Director of Babkki, stated, “In this era of high inflation, the average lunch price per person has risen significantly, making it difficult for office workers.” He added, “Our strength lies in offering carefully selected food products and menus, double-verified by our in-house MD team and headquarters, at affordable prices. We expect the Magok Station Branch to play a beneficial role for resident companies.”
Meanwhile, since starting its franchise business in 2022 and opening 30 franchise stores, the unmanned food discount store Babkki announced that it will actively expand its regional franchises by participating in the Busan Franchise Startup Expo held at BEXCO from February 16 to 18. Applications for side jobs and franchise consultations can be made on the Babkki website.
