Deliver 300 Sets of Ancestral Rite Supplies and Fruits to Vulnerable Groups in Songpa Area for Lunar New Year

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seoul Agro-Fisheries & Food Corporation (President Moon Young-pyo) announced that on the 17th, together with Hope Sharing Market (Chairman Kwon Jang-hee), a neighborly love group of Garak Market distributors, they delivered 300 sets of ancestral rite supplies and fruits to vulnerable groups and welfare facilities near Garak Market.

The corporation and Garak Market distributors have been steadily conducting annual sharing events of ancestral rite supplies and fruits to express care and love for neighbors in need around the market ahead of the traditional Lunar New Year holiday.

The ancestral rite set, which includes essential items for preparing the Lunar New Year ritual table such as apples, pears, jujubes, seaweed, dried pollack, yakgwa (traditional honey cookie), rice cake powder, pancake mix, and frying powder, is a highly anticipated and much appreciated donation by the recipients.

The ancestral rite supplies and fruits jointly donated by the corporation and distributors amounted to goods worth approximately 17 million KRW and were distributed to vulnerable groups and welfare facilities in Songpa-gu under the supervision of the Songpa-gu Welfare Policy Division.
