'Just Dropped My Smartphone' Leads to Netflix Instead of Theater

The film is a reality-based thriller about an ordinary office worker who begins to have their entire daily life threatened after losing their smartphone containing all their personal information. It conveys fear and empathy through the worst-case scenarios that can occur after losing a smartphone that holds resident registration numbers, bank account numbers, and all personal information and privacy. Actors Lim Si-wan, Chun Woo-hee, and Kim Hee-won star in the film.

Lim Si-wan takes on another intense transformation following 'Emergency Declaration' (2022). He plays Jun-young, a man who approaches after accidentally picking up Nami's (Chun Woo-hee) smartphone. His role involves committing chilling crimes using the smartphone. Chun Woo-hee plays Nami, a marketer at a startup company. After losing and recovering her smartphone, she gets caught up in an unexpected incident, shaking her previously ordinary life. Kim Hee-won plays Ji-man, a detective chasing the culprit of a murder case, adding tension to the story.

Director Kim Tae-joon, who wrote and directed 'Seumateupon-eul Tteoreotteuryeoss-eul Ppun-inde,' said, "I thought of the smartphone as another actor and the protagonist of the film, and I wanted to capture its various aspects," adding, "It is a movie that anyone can easily immerse themselves in, thinking of it as their own story."
