[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Doo-yeol] Students from the Department of Broadcasting and Video at Dongseo University recently won the grand prize at the '2022 Life Love YouTube Video Contest' held at the Francesco Hall in Jung-gu, Seoul.
Hosted by the Life Respect Citizens' Association, this contest was planned to spread messages of love for life and suicide prevention, with a total of 34 works submitted nationwide.
The grand prize and a cash award of 3 million KRW were awarded to the 'Yedaum Team' consisting of second-year students Jeon So-jeong, Kim Seong-jun, Shin Min-gyu, and An Ian from Dongseo University's Department of Broadcasting and Video.
The work is a video letter expressing a desire to comfort struggling youth, with the theme "Life is so hard that you want to die, but a word of comfort can save a person."
Student Jeon So-jeong said, "We constantly thought about how to convey the contest theme with our own message," adding, "I am happy to have achieved good results in a contest started with good intentions alongside my classmates."
