[Seoul District News] Seocho-gu Launches 'Hello Seocho-gu Real Estate' KakaoTalk Channel to Provide Real Estate Information via Chatbot & 24-Hour Automated Response Available Anytime, Anywhere, for Everyone & ▲Housing Lease Report ▲Individual Official Land Price ▲Ancestral Land Search ▲Land Merger Information Provided
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] A service that provides the latest real estate policies and information accurately and quickly through a chatbot will be launched in Seocho-gu, the first among local governments nationwide.
Seocho-gu (Mayor Jeon Seong-su) announced that it will start a specialized chatbot service to deliver real estate-related information to residents.
A chatbot is a program designed to perform specific tasks through conversations with people via voice or text, and it has recently been used as a consultation platform in various fields.
The district has opened the KakaoTalk channel ‘Hello Seocho-gu Real Estate’ and built and operates the chatbot. Since it uses KakaoTalk, which most people use, there is the advantage of not needing to install a separate app. Users can add the channel by scanning the KakaoTalk QR code or by searching for ‘Hello Seocho-gu Real Estate’ in the KakaoTalk channel search bar.
The main contents include ▲housing lease reporting ▲individual official land price ▲finding ancestral land ▲opening a real estate brokerage business ▲land consolidation ▲important points to check when signing a jeonse or monthly rent contract, allowing residents to resolve frequently asked questions anytime and anywhere, 24 hours a day. For example, searching for ‘official land price’ shows detailed explanations about the official land price determination process and objection procedures, and searching for ‘ancestral land’ uploads eligibility and application methods for finding ancestral land along with links to related sites.
Additionally, the channel’s bulletin board features real estate-related news provided by the district, including its specialized projects such as ▲ID badge issuance for licensed real estate agents ▲video education materials for prospective real estate agents ▲safe contract assistance services for single-person households’ jeonse and monthly rent contracts.
In the future, the district plans to quickly deliver news about real estate-related law amendments and policy changes through this channel and to build a more diverse list of frequently asked questions. It is expected that this will enable faster information provision in response to residents’ inquiries.
Besides this, the district is actively promoting various real estate-related services and policies for residents. It is operating the ‘Safe Contract Assistance Service for Single-Person Households’ in cooperation with Seoul City and is promoting projects such as ‘ID badge issuance for licensed real estate agents’ and ‘distribution of practical video materials for real estate agents’ to eradicate illegal brokerage activities by unregistered agents.
Jeon Seong-su, Mayor of Seocho-gu, said, “As interest in real estate-related laws and policies is increasing, we will continue to add and update content,” and added, “We will implement various projects and services so that the district can provide the latest real estate policies easily and quickly.”
