[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] British startup Nothing announced on the 6th that its smartphone 'Phone One' and Bluetooth earphones 'Ear One' and 'Ear Stick' have surpassed 1 million units sold in the global market. Since its launch in July, 'Phone One' has sold over 500,000 units, while 'Ear One' and 'Ear Stick' have sold over 600,000 units.

Nothing projected that its sales revenue would grow from $20 million (26 billion KRW) at the end of last year to $250 million (325.7 billion KRW) this year, marking more than a tenfold increase in just one year. The total number of employees increased from 176 last year to 433 this year.

Nothing's 'Ear Stick,' released last month, features up to 29 hours of continuous playback, a 12.6mm custom driver, and a comfortable half in-ear design. 'Phone One' is characterized by a design that reveals the inside of the device using about 900 light-emitting diodes (LEDs) on the back of the product. Key specifications include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ chipset, a 120Hz refresh rate organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display, and a 50-megapixel dual camera. The price ranges from 629,000 to 729,000 KRW.
