Business Agreement to Promote Startup Growth and Activate B2B Manufacturing Transactions
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Korea Industrial Complex Corporation (Chairman Kim Jeong-hwan) announced on the 28th that it signed a business agreement with the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development (Director Kim Yong-moon) to "promote the growth of manufacturing startup companies and revitalize B2B manufacturing transactions."
This agreement was established to promote the growth of manufacturing and startup companies through mutual linkage and cooperation between the two organizations as manufacturing and startup promotion institutions, and to activate B2B (business-to-business) manufacturing transactions between manufacturing demand and supply companies.
The main contents of the business agreement include ▲ discovering manufacturing and startup companies and recommending excellent prototypes through manufacturing infrastructure (makerspaces) ▲ discovering manufacturing supply companies for product production (mass production) and supporting transaction matching ▲ discovering and promoting cooperative projects for manufacturing and startup promotion.
The two organizations are currently conducting a pilot collaborative program this year that links their unique projects to promote the growth of manufacturing and startup companies. Kim Jeong-hwan, Chairman of Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, said, "The combination of the functions and infrastructure of the two organizations will help promote manufacturing startups and find suitable production cooperation companies," adding, "We will make greater efforts so that industrial complexes can be reborn as spaces where new industries are created in the future."
