[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] The Ulsan City Health and Environment Research Institute announced that all eggs tested for livestock product safety were found to be 'suitable'.
Eggs produced by laying hen farms in the Ulsan area and eggs distributed in large supermarkets were randomly collected and tested for foreign substances, spoilage or decay, Salmonella bacteria, and residual substances such as pesticides and antibiotics. A total of 233 tests were conducted, all of which were found to be suitable.
An official from the Health and Environment Research Institute stated, “We are actively promoting livestock product inspections so that citizens can safely consume eggs, which are a complete food. Additionally, we will do our best to ensure egg safety by simultaneously promoting and guiding local producers on livestock product safety.”
