Presenting 50 Ink and Light Color Paintings on the Theme of 'Meeting Friends'
[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cha Jongseon] Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that a Korean painting exhibition by artist Seon Jae-sun will be held from October 6 to 19 at Gallery 107 and Street Gallery.
This exhibition is artist Seon Jae-sun's first solo exhibition, presenting about 50 ink and light color paintings under the theme "Meeting with Friends."
Artist Seon Jae-sun said, "I always pursue something new and have a curious personality.
As a result, in my later years, I suddenly picked up a brush and became immersed in my artistic world, wandering between dreams and reality.
I wanted to express everything breathing in nature with elements of humanities and philosophy through ink painting."
Seon Jae-sun graduated from Dongguk University and the Department of Philosophy at Chonnam National University.
She has received numerous awards, including the Special Selection at the Korea Sochi Art Exhibition and the Special Selection at the National Sea Sketch Contest, and is currently active as a member of Gokseong Mukhyangrim and Ok-gwa Seolmukhhoe.
Gallery 107 is located at 107-1 Jungang-ro, Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do.
It is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and admission is free.
