Jirisan Hamyang Baekjeon Omija Festival held in Hamyang, Gyeongnam, where the Nongdureil event took place.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] In Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam, the Nongdureil rural experience tourism program was held at the 7th Jirisan Hamyang Baekjeon Omija Festival, the county announced on the 20th.

This tour was conducted for about 40 tourists living in the city, linked with a tourist bus. The tourists visited the 7th Jirisan Hamyang Baekjeon Omija Festival site and enjoyed the Omija festival to the fullest, including Omija tasting.

The tour included a professional guide who completed rural tourism interpreter training, promoting Hamyang and providing explanations about rural experience tourism to enhance understanding of Hamyang and rural areas.

County Governor Jin Byeong-yeong said, “We will do our best to create a Hamyang that visitors want to return to by providing Hamyang’s representative specialty products and allowing them to enjoy the pleasures of rural experience tourism.”
