Average Sale Price of Private Apartments Nationwide at 3.3㎡ is 14.69 Million KRW
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Last month, the average sale price per 3.3㎡ of private apartments nationwide over the past year was 14,698,200 KRW.
According to the "Private Apartment Sale Price Trends as of the End of August" data released by the Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG) on the 15th, the average sale price per 3.3㎡ of apartments nationwide was recorded at 14,698,200 KRW, up 1.14% compared to the previous month.
The monthly average sale price announced by HUG refers to the average sale price of private sale projects for which sale guarantees were issued during the 12 months immediately prior to the announcement.
The average sale price per 3.3㎡ in Seoul was recorded at 27,300,900 KRW, down 3.24% from the previous month. Compared to the same month last year, it fell by 12.91%. The average sale price per 3.3㎡ of apartments in the metropolitan area was 20,308,200 KRW, up 0.04% from the previous month.
The five major metropolitan cities and Sejong City saw an increase of 0.12% from the previous month, reaching 15,437,400 KRW, while other provinces recorded 12,041,700 KRW, up 2.87% from the previous month.
Meanwhile, the number of newly supplied private apartments nationwide last month was 14,342 units, a 26% increase compared to the same month last year (11,478 units). In the metropolitan area, 2,380 units were newly supplied, 562 units in the five major metropolitan cities and Sejong City, and 11,400 units in other provinces.
