hy, Price Increase for Some Products Including 'Coopers' Starting September

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] hy announced on the 18th that it will raise the prices of some products starting September 1.

hy will increase the price of ‘Yakult Light’ from 200 won to 220 won, and ‘Coopers Premium’ from 2,500 won to 2,700 won. ‘Yakult Premium Light’ and ‘Multivita Probiotics’ will each increase by 100 won. Except for Yakult Light, the other three products are experiencing their first price increase since launch.

An hy official explained, "The burden of manufacturing costs has intensified due to rising prices of raw materials such as raw sugar and packaging materials, as well as logistics and labor costs," adding, "Considering the difficult economic conditions, we decided to raise prices only for some products."
