[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Su-yeon] SK Telecom announced on the 11th that it has signed a donation agreement for the 'Tnaneun Phone Exchange' program with SK Planet, Mintit, and Save the Children. Starting from the 23rd, a campaign will be held to donate 10,000 KRW per customer who purchases Foldable4 devices such as the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Flip4 and joins the 'Tnaneun Phone Exchange' program, up to a maximum of 100 million KRW.
SKT's newly launched device upgrade program, 'Tnaneun Phone Exchange,' provides subscribing customers with OK Cashback points up to 1.5 times the monthly usage fee paid over two years (100,000p, 200,000p, or 300,000p depending on the product) when they switch to a new phone.
Additionally, subscribers can enjoy partnership benefits such as watching movies at Megabox for 8,000 KRW per ticket, up to 4 tickets per month (maximum discount of 24,000 KRW).
Benefits from the existing used device compensation program can also be combined, and compensation is available even when returning devices with broken screens if subscribing to the Plus product, making the benefits substantial.
SKT will also implement a donation program where 10,000 KRW per subscription, up to 100 million KRW, will be donated to Save the Children's child crisis support and health care support projects for customers who purchase Foldable4 devices and join the Tnaneun Phone Exchange program starting from the 23rd.
A total of 10,000 customers who purchase Foldable4 devices, join the Tnaneun Phone Exchange, and donate 10,000 KRW to Save the Children will receive a mobile sponsorship certificate via MMS as a token of appreciation.
Goo Hyun-chul, Head of SKT Sales Division, said, "In line with the launch of Foldable4, we have introduced a new device upgrade program called 'Tnaneun Phone Exchange' and planned a meaningful donation campaign with Save the Children." He added, "We expect strong responses from the MZ generation who value meaningful consumption, and we will continue to introduce purchase support programs that offer more benefits."
