[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Pyeonghwa] The Korea International Trade Association announced on the 8th that it held a 'Trade Industry Meeting with Philip Goldberg, the new U.S. Ambassador to Korea,' at the InterContinental Seoul COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul.

At the meeting, representatives and executives from companies exporting to and investing in the U.S., including Hyundai Motor Company, SeAH Steel, OCI, CJ ENM, Dongwon Group, Metabiomed, Exicon, Jusung Engineering, YG-One, and Iljin Group, attended.

Trade Association Chairman Koo Ja-yeol said, "This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement (FTA)," adding, "I hope the relationship between the two countries will become stronger as an economic, security, and technological alliance."
