Female university student found bleeding at Inha University dies... Police investigation underway

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] A woman in her 20s was found on the Inha University campus with her clothes torn off and bleeding, collapsed, and later died during treatment. The police are focusing on the possibility of criminal involvement and have launched an investigation.

According to the Incheon Fire Department and Michuhol Police Station on the 15th, at around 3:49 a.m., a report was received by 112 that a woman in her 20s, identified as Ms. A, was collapsed on the Inha University campus in Michuhol-gu, Incheon.

The passerby who found Ms. A reportedly informed the police that "an intoxicated woman was collapsed with her clothes removed."

Ms. A was transported to the hospital by the 119 emergency medical team in a state of cardiac arrest with bleeding on her head and received treatment but ultimately passed away.

Investigations confirmed that Ms. A was a first-year student at the university.

The police have requested an autopsy of Ms. A's body from the National Forensic Service and plan to investigate the exact circumstances of the incident by reviewing campus CCTV footage and securing witnesses.
