[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Haesung DS announced on the 27th that it will proceed with a facility expansion investment worth 63.6 billion KRW.
The purpose of the investment is to secure a foundation for sales expansion through increased space efficiency at the business site and expansion of production facilities.
This investment is the initial investment of 350 billion KRW MOU signed with Changwon City on March 23. 63.6 billion KRW will be pre-spent, and the remaining investment will be executed after a board resolution.
Haesung DS stated that it plans to invest 350 billion KRW by 2025 to expand production facilities for lead frames and package substrates.
