Support for Admission to Local Universities and Graduate Schools... Dongseo University Signs Agreement with Italy's Prestigious Design School Domus Academy Students from the College of Design at Dongseo University are taking a group photo after attending classes at the Domus Academy in Italy.


[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Dongseo University has signed an agreement with Italy's top design university, Domus Academy.


The Dongseo University College of Design has been conducting various exchange collaborations with Domus Academy through the GDS (Global Design Society) program, including joint research, invited special lectures, and student exchanges.


Dongseo University students have achieved practical results such as employment at renowned local design companies overseas and advancement to doctoral programs.


Based on ten years of excellent joint research and exchange cooperation, Domus Academy proposed to elevate the cooperative relationship between the two universities to the next level.


Specific cooperation includes an agreement on graduate program faculty exchanges, activation of student exchange programs, and linking Dongseo University's outstanding graduates to admission into Domus Academy's graduate programs.


Both schools plan to further strengthen academic research cooperation through joint research and faculty exchange programs.


Graduates of Dongseo University will also receive various benefits, including special scholarships, when advancing to local university graduate schools.


Domus Academy, located in Milan, Italy, is one of the world's top design universities, and in Korea, Dongseo University and Hongik University are its partner universities.


Jang Je-guk, president of Dongseo University, said, "The signing of this agreement has once again confirmed the global competitiveness of our university's College of Design," and added, "We hope that students will advance to Europe and grow as design professionals."
