Jinju City and Jinju Police Station Sign Business Agreement Utilizing Hamo Character
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] On the 24th, Jinju City in Gyeongnam Province and the Jinju Police Station signed a business agreement to smoothly promote joint cooperation projects, including the use of Jinju City's tourism ambassador character ‘Hamo’.
This agreement was made to facilitate mutual exchange and cooperation for effective promotion of shared interests, including the use of the Jinju City tourism character ‘Hamo’ during the execution of autonomous police duties. The signing ceremony was attended by Shin Jong-woo, Acting Mayor of Jinju City, and Gong Yong-gi, Chief of Jinju Police Station.
Through this agreement, Jinju City agreed to actively cooperate in utilizing ‘Hamo’ during the autonomous police duties carried out by the Jinju Police Station. Both organizations promised to mutually cooperate in external promotion of major projects by leveraging their promotional channels and networks.
Gong Yong-gi, Chief of Jinju Police Station, said, “We appreciate the support in designing ‘Hamo’ wearing a police uniform and the cooperation to freely use Jinju City's tourism character Hamo in autonomous police duties,” adding, “We plan to continue cooperating for promotion and development in areas of mutual interest.”
Shin Jong-woo, Acting Mayor of Jinju City, stated, “There are many areas for mutual cooperation between Jinju City and Jinju Police Station, including festivals and various fields,” and added, “With today’s agreement, the activity scope of Jinju City’s tourism character Hamo will expand to the autonomous police duties of Jinju Police Station, which is expected to play a significant role in promoting Hamo nationwide.”
