Lotte Home Shopping Celebrates 21st Anniversary... "Transitioning from Home Shopping to Media Commerce" Lee Wanshin, CEO of Lotte Homeshopping, and other executives are handing out snacks such as rice cakes and Sikhye to employees arriving at work on the 24th.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lotte Homeshopping announced on the 24th that it held a commemorative event at its headquarters in Yangpyeong-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, to celebrate its 21st anniversary.


On this day, CEO Lee Wan-shin and other executives handed out snacks such as rice cakes and Sikhye to employees arriving at work, cheering them on with a shout of "Fighting" to support a new beginning. They also organized a surprise event featuring the popular character Bellygom to communicate with employees. A photo booth was set up for instant photos, and an event was held where employees could send thank-you messages to colleagues in the pictures. Additionally, a lucky draw event providing points to a total of 21 winners received enthusiastic responses.


Earlier, CEO Lee visited the Bellygom public exhibition site at Lotte Premium Outlet Time Villas in Uiwang, Gyeonggi-do, to express gratitude to customers and filmed a video promising to fulfill its role as Korea’s leading home shopping company. The video will be broadcast live during TV home shopping from the 28th to the 31st for four days.


CEO Lee said, “I deeply appreciate the dedication and hard work of the employees who have contributed to Lotte Homeshopping reaching its 21st birthday,” adding, “To achieve a new leap as a young company, we will lay the foundation for sustainable growth as a 100-year company through media commerce and digital business, and continue to evolve beyond a home shopping company.”
