Jeonbuk Fire Headquarters to Begin Official Operations from the 2nd of Next Month
[Jeonju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hanho] The Jeollabuk-do Fire Headquarters (Chief Choi Mincheol) announced on the 24th that the ‘Fire Truck Exclusive Zone Parking Violation Vehicle’ reporting menu through the Safe Report app will be officially operated from June 2.
A menu to report ‘vehicles violating parking in fire truck exclusive zones, etc.’ will be added to the Safe Report app.
The reporting target is vehicles parked for more than 5 minutes in fire truck exclusive zones, specifically illegal parking in fire truck exclusive zones of apartment complexes with 100 or more households and dormitories subject to housing construction project plan approval or building permit applications after August 10, 2018.
The reporting criteria include ▲ stacking or parking objects in the fire truck exclusive zone ▲ stacking or parking objects in front, rear, or both sides of the exclusive zone ▲ blocking entry to the exclusive zone ▲ erasing or damaging the surface markings of the exclusive zone ▲ and other acts that obstruct fire trucks from entering the exclusive zone.
The reporting method is to run the smartphone app (Ministry of the Interior and Safety Safe Report), and attach two or more photos taken at 5-minute intervals from the same background location (direction) so that the violation area and vehicle number can be identified through the illegal parking reporting menu.
If the complainant reports and the conditions are met, a fine of 500,000 KRW will be imposed for the first violation and 1,000,000 KRW for two or more violations.
