Yongin City conducts the Small-scale Enterprise Environment Improvement Project every year to support part of the improvement costs so that small and medium-sized enterprises can renovate poor infrastructure and improve labor and working environments. This year's main projects include ▲ labor environment improvement ▲ labor environment improvement in knowledge industry centers ▲ working environment improvement.
This year, the city selected a total of 51 local SMEs and invested 440 million KRW. As of the 23rd of this month, the environmental improvement projects for 48 companies have been completed, and the remaining three companies are expected to finish their improvement projects by July.
In particular, this year, three companies including Andy S Solution Co., Ltd. established video conference rooms, equipping non-face-to-face meeting systems whose necessity has emerged due to COVID-19.
Also, the Iho Knowledge Industry Center, housing a total of 25 companies, underwent waterproofing work on the building's exterior walls, allowing it to escape chronic damage caused by the monsoon season.
Daehung Spring, located in Pogok-eup, Cheoin-gu, carried out repairs on the employee cafeteria and common stairs, while Eco Wind, located in Idong-eup, additionally installed storage racks and workbenches.
Daehyung Spring CEO Eo Dae-yong said, "After improving the corporate environment with support from Yongin City, the labor environment improved, greatly helping boost employee morale," and added, "I recommend other companies to fully utilize Yongin City's support."
A city official explained, "We plan to expand the scale and amount of support so that more companies can benefit and focus on their business activities."
