[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF Corporation) is launching a 'Remote Application Support Service' for seniors aged 60 and over and hearing-impaired individuals who have difficulty applying for policy mortgages such as the Bogeumjari Loan and Didimdol Loan via PC or smartphone.
The service applies only to Bogeumjari Loan and Didimdol Loan applications made through the corporation's website and app.
The service remotely assists with the online application process for policy mortgages and provides real-time support via phone or messenger consultations.
The support targets ▲ seniors aged 60 and over who are not familiar with online loan applications ▲ hearing-impaired individuals who find call center consultations difficult.
For hearing-impaired individuals, real-time consultation with a corporation counselor is supported via messenger during the remote procedure.
Applications can be made through the HF Corporation website's internet financial services or the Smart Housing Finance mobile app using a smartphone, and the service operates by reservation.
Customers can select their preferred service date within up to one month from the application date.
On the chosen service date, customers enter the access number received from the corporation on the connection page, and a counselor assists with the application via remote connection.
President Choi Jun-woo stated, “The Remote Application Support Service is designed to enable hearing-impaired individuals and financial consumers facing difficulties due to accelerated digital transformation to use policy mortgages more conveniently,” adding, “We will carefully review application trends and inconveniences to gradually expand the support target.”
