The county decided to provide experience and physical activity expenses to alleviate students' psychological anxiety caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and to motivate learning, in line with the full lifting of social distancing measures, the promotion of school daily life recovery, and the normalization of educational activities.
In addition, the county will support educational budgets to schools to carry out experience and physical activities according to their own plans, such as exploring historic sites and local tourist attractions, cultural and artistic experience activities, attending performances and exhibitions, watching sports games, and distinctive physical activities.
A county official said, "We hope that experience and physical activities will provide an opportunity to promote the psychological and emotional stability of students exhausted by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and to cultivate artistic sensitivity and creativity," adding, "We will do our best to support the daily life recovery of youth."
Meanwhile, to enhance educational competitiveness, the county established the 'Five-Year Development Plan for Realizing Premium Hwasun Education' in 2017 and has been implementing various educational welfare support policies by investing 6 billion won annually.
