From April to December, training for 16 trainees
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam held the first 'Hanwoo Rearing Young Farmers Academy' entrance ceremony of the year at the Hwanggaram Agricultural and Rural Vitalization Center.
The Hapcheon-gun Hanwoo Rearing Young Farmers Academy is an education program newly launched this year to nurture talents who will lead the future of livestock farming. The county invited 12 of the best domestic instructors in livestock-related fields and plans to conduct a total of 12 sessions from April to December for 16 trainees.
This training course was established at the request of young livestock farmers and is organized mainly around improvement, breeding, feeding, and disease management.
A Hanwoo rearing master is also included as an instructor, allowing trainees to hear voices from the field.
At the entrance ceremony, Shin Jae-soon, Director of the Hapcheon Agricultural Technology Center, Kim Yong-wook, Chairman of Hapcheon Livestock Cooperative, and Kang Jong-deok, Head of the Hapcheon Hanwoo Branch, attended to congratulate the trainees on their admission.
Shin Jae-soon, Director of the Agricultural Technology Center, said, "I hope this academy will be a guiding light for young livestock farmers who will drive the Hapcheon Hanwoo industry," and added, "We will strive to provide education for livestock farmers so that the reputation of Hapcheon Hanwoo can become the best in the nation."
