According to the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system (DART) on the 21st, Chairman Lee received 9.073 billion KRW from CJ Holdings. Of this amount, 3.1 billion KRW was salary and 5.973 billion KRW was bonuses. Additionally, he received 8.392 billion KRW from CJ CheilJedang and 4.396 billion KRW from CJ ENM. This represents a 76.6% increase compared to the 12.379 billion KRW he received from these three companies in 2020.
A CJ official explained, "This is due to achieving record-high performance last year, resulting in a significant increase in performance bonuses for most of the management."
Meanwhile, Sohn Kyung-shik, Chairman of CJ Group, received 10.67 billion KRW from CJ CheilJedang, which is a 4.4% increase from the previous year. Lee Mi-kyung, Vice Chairman of CJ Group and sister of Chairman Lee, received 4.885 billion KRW from CJ ENM, marking a 64.1% increase compared to the previous year.
Also, Kim Hong-gi, CEO of CJ, received 2.77 billion KRW; Choi Eun-seok, CEO of CJ CheilJedang, received 2.457 billion KRW; and Kang Ho-sung, CEO of CJ ENM, received 2.358 billion KRW, respectively.
