Contract Signed with Milrot Laboratories

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Ildong Bioscience's probiotics are entering Thailand for the first time.
Ildong Bioscience recently announced on the 21st that it signed a supply contract for probiotics composed of beneficial bacteria such as lactic acid bacteria with Milott Laboratories in Thailand, and has completed the shipment and dispatch of the initial quantity of 600,000 doses.

Milott Laboratories is an OEM·ODM (Original Equipment Manufacturer·Original Design Manufacturer) specialized company in cosmetics and healthcare based in Samutprakarn Province, central Thailand, equipped with extensive domestic and international partnerships, distribution networks, and dedicated infrastructure.

The export items are probiotic raw materials and semi-finished products developed by Ildong Bioscience, which will be approved as health functional food products through Milott and distributed locally in Thailand.

An official from Ildong Bioscience said, “We are securing competitiveness and differentiation of probiotic raw materials based on abundant strain data, coating technology, and halal and kosher certifications,” adding, “We plan to expand into neighboring Southeast Asian markets following our entry into Thailand.”
Ildong Bioscience is a health functional food specialist company established in 2016 as a spin-off from Ildong Holdings, based on Ildong Pharmaceutical’s proprietary technology and infrastructure related to lactic acid bacteria, supplying probiotic raw materials and products to leading domestic and international companies.
